Holiday Round-Up

Posted by Robyn Thomas on 12th Dec 2022

Those gift-giving days are just around the corner. Are you stuck on what to give a loved one? Out of ideas on how to wow your neighbor? Never underestimate the joy and lasting impression you will make on someone when you give them a hand-made gift. The labor of love will fill the hearts of all who receive it.

We've made your process a little easier with a quick guide to our past Cotton Cuts projects. You can whip these gorgeous projects together in no time. Add a bow and you are ready for any holiday party, hostess gift or present exchange that comes up in the next few days.

Use up some of that gorgeous fabric from your stash, those lovely Christmas prints or even everyday prints for year-round use. (Hey, then you can jump into the new year with a good reason to go shopping for new fabric. That stash isn't going to replenish itself, is it?)

Use some original white or cream fabrics plus some of your scraps to create these cute snowmen. Really, who wouldn't love to add these guys to your holiday decorations?

Beth Ann showed us how to put together these drawstring bags earlier in the year. How cute are these? You can put them together in an afternoon. And make a few at the same time for hostess gifts ready to go. And, if you need something for a gift exchange, your draw string bag will be the most sought after on the table!

These Delicate Bowls are simply adorable. The uses and place you could use them is endless. Keep your makeup organized on the bathroom counter, store the threads for your current project close at hand by your sewing machine. And, you can use everyday fabrics, or make it a holiday decoration.

What is making a comeback and trending right now? Fanny packs. If you are a child of the 80s, this is an amazing comeback. Who didn't love and appreciate their fanny pack back in the day? Make a cute one for your gift recipient with your scraps or coordinating fat quarters. Easy to do. So much fun.

You can find even more inspiration on our blog. Thumb through our pages of projects and inspiration. Or use the search bar to check and see if a project in your head has been featured. (A scarf, a hat, even a casserole cozy.) The possibilities are endless.

Wishing you a creative and successful holiday gift-giving season.
