Floral States
Welcome to Cotton Cuts' delightful journey through America's floral tapestry! Cotton Cuts has partnered with Andover Fabric to bring you our first precut Block of the Month program celebrating the floral beauty of the United States. Join fellow quilting enthusiasts on a vibrant exploration as we showcase the iconic State Flowers from all 50 states.
Each month for 10 months, you'll receive 5 precut blocks featuring each state's floral print. Everything will be cut for you, which means you'll be able to sit and sew each block in no time. Straight stitching only, no paper piecing or Y-seams. Whether you're a seasoned quilter or just starting your quilting adventure, our Block of the Month program offers an engaging experience for all skill levels.
We will be releasing each block in the order that it became a state and will be including fun learning tidbits each month.

At the end of the journey, you'll be able to select your own finishing design. On point or a grid? Your choice, you get to decide! We'll cut all your sashing strips so you won't have to.
Finishing kits will include all of the blue fabrics shown here as well as binding. Backing is completely up to you!

When does the program start?
Signups open on May 2nd for the program for the first 300 registrants. The first blocks for the first 5 states will ship on June 1st and the first of each month for 10 total months.
How much does it cost?
If you join the full 10 month adventure, it will be $30 per month. This includes free shipping in the US (free shipping if you prepay outside of the US) as well as the free finishing kit with the 10th month's blocks. You can choose to pay monthly or all at once, whatever is most convenient for you.
If you choose not to join for all 50 states, we will be listing extra state blocks on the website as they are released. They will be $10 each and will include free shipping as well as fun statehood facts cards.
Additionally, we will be offering extra fabrics for backing as well as a precut panel kit. Stay tuned for more info soon!
How big is each block?
Each block finished 8" x 8". All blocks will be straight stitched with no y-seams. All fabrics will be precut and ready to sew. We will use blue, white and aqua accents to compliment the state floral prints.
Can I see each month's block ahead of time?
It wouldn't be Cotton Cuts if we didn't have an air of mystery. We can tell you waht states will be released when and what the floral print looks like, but as for the block design, you'll have to wait until the month it ships. Follow up on Social Media to see sneaks of the upcoming block releases!
If you see blocks that you love, they will be available as single blocks on the website. And if you're feeling FOMO after the launch, simply reach out to our member care team to see if we have slots for you!
