Mini Holiday Mystery Revealed Just In Time

Mini Holiday Mystery Revealed Just In Time

Posted by Robyn Thomas on 19th Dec 2023

Two months ago, Rosa opened up her bag of goodies again, just in time for the holidays. She offered up a selection of beautiful surprise fabric gifts as well as notions to delight each and every sewer. What she added to the offerings was nothing short of spectacular, as those who selected the Rosa's Holiday Your Way Mini Mystery participated in six days of fun, easy-to-sew pre-cut clues in the spirit of the Puzzle Mystery Quilt. The mystery started in late November and the results are in. Rosa's Mini Mystery Holiday Table Runner is festive perfection.

Do you love a mystery that you can solve with just six simple clues in just a few hours of sewing? Even though the mystery is solved, the complete kits are again available for you. And even though The holidays are almost over, you can make this beautiful table runner for next year.

What's included

  • Color-coordinated pre-cut fabrics with five options to choose from.
  • Organized into six simple, easy-to-follow clues that will have you sewing immediately.
  • This kit includes the backing AND binding material so you can finish it up right away.
  • Coordinated high-quality Aurifil thread, two spools, included as well.

And if you are still not convinced that this is a project you can't afford to pass up, take a look at some of the finished table runners our talented detectives have posted.

Trudy Janssen completed Yuletide Cheer and shared it with us in our Cotton Cuts Fabric group. This is simply spectacular with its traditional rich red, green and gold hues. And just enough sparkle in those fabrics to make it really pop.

Debbie Spharler chose First Snow, which contains a wonderful array of blues, highlighted with silver in the mix. This one is going to carry right over into January and February, and warm up a table during those cold snowy month.

Another Cotton Cuts Fabric group member, Elizabeth Ocon, shared her clues for Mistletoe Kisses along the way while she sewed. We can't wait to see how these clues come together with the stunning black and red fabrics taking center stage.

Here is Courtney Pyrch's Holly Jolly.  Along her journey she said, "I’m so excited to see what this becomes!"  It feels a little more traditional, focusing in on the deep greens and the adorable gold fabric with the holly berries. And don't those dark colors make that white with gold accents leap out? Courtney is going to love showing this off in her home when it's completed. (Maybe she has it finished already.)

And here is Dawn showing off her completed Festive and Bright, with the combination of navy blue, red, white and silver.

And, if you are concerned about your sewing skill level, just take a look at Cheryl's completed Yuletide Cheer. Cheryl considers herself to be a sewing newbie, but just look at what she created! Amazing! We think she is ready to move herself up a few notches.

Here are a few things our detectives have had to say about the Rosa's Holiday Your Way Mini Mystery.

"Those fabrics are amazing! It was hard to choose which one I like best. And I was so happy to finally settle on Mistletoe kisses and get to sewing."

Ruth Krainik added "So many pretty colorways!"

And Renee said "You could buy them in every colorway and have plenty of time to sew them all for Christmas gifts next year!" We agree, Renee. What a thoughtful gift to give.

There is still time to ORDER your favorite, or two in our Cotton Cuts shop. But don't delay. We were able to arrange for more fabric, but this is the end of the line. Once they're gone, they are, sadly, gone for good.
