The London Calling program is a unique 10-month program featuring Liberty of London's Emily Annabelle and Emily Belle florals, printed on Lasenby cotton. Whether you’re a Liberty fan or new to these fabrics, this is your chance to experience a creative color journey with fellow enthusiasts.
How It Works:
Each month, you’ll receive a new focal fabric from the Emily Annabelle collection, coordinated with three fabrics from Emily Belle and a consistent neutral for a harmonious effect. To see all of the fabrics and their coordinates, click HERE.
Cotton Cuts will be featuring these prints in 2 uniquely Cotton Cuts programs. Precut and ready to sew or foundation paper piecing. Delivered straight to you and the perfect way to experience these lovely fabrics!

Project #1 - Bear Claws Blocks of the Month
Layouts shown are examples only - you can pick and choose the location of the fabrics with the instructions provided.
Each month, receive enough precut pieces to complete FIVE coordinated Bear Paws that will each finish 8" x 8" (the full Bear Claw blocks finish 18" x 18"). After 10 months, you'll have 50 coordinated paws to assemble into a lovely low volume finished quilt.
We will send you more parts and pieces than you need so you can pick and choose the layout of each paw as you wish - a true "Choose Your Own Adventure" each month.
Don't like a print? Then simply don't include it.
Want your claws to all match? Then pair them up.
Love scrappy? Shuffle the shapes and leave the final design to chance.
You do you - we won't tell anyone. :)
At the end of the journey, you'll be able to select your own finishing design. On point or a grid? Your choice, you get to decide! We'll cut all your sashing strips so you won't have to.
Finishing kits will include all of the background fabrics shown here. Binding and Backing are completely up to you!

Project #2 - Scrappy Triangles Foundation Paper Piecing
Each month, receive enough of the monthly fabrics to make 10 scrappy triangle blocks. After 10 months, you'll have 100 coordinated scrappy triangles to assemble into a lovely low volume finished quilt, either a square throw (60" x 60") or a regular throw (54" x 66").
Each month, we will send you:
Fat Quarter of the Emily Annabelle focal print
Fat Eighth of each of the three Emily Belle coordinates.
Precut Background triangles, so you don't have to cut those at all!

"Fancy Nancy" is going to London and will be taking all of our enthusiasts on a tour of the city. Each month, she will travel between two popular destitations in London. You'll have to use your wits to let us know the best path between stops using the London Tube system. Enter the information online and be entered to win prizes!

When does the program start?
The first shipments will head your way on May 20th and the 20th of each month following for the 10 total months of the program.
How much does it cost?
If you join the full 10 month Precut Bear Claw blocks of the month adventure, it will be $30.00 per month and if you join the Foundation Paper Piecing block of the month adventure, it will be $19.00 per month for the throw option. This includes free shipping in the US for prepaid enthusiasts. You can choose to pay monthly or all at once, whatever is most convenient for you.
How big is each block?
For the Palette Blocks of the month, each bear paw block will finish 8" x 8" and the finished bear claw will finish 18" x 18".
For the Scrappy Triangles, each block will finish 6" x 6". And each of the throw memberships will make 100 squares for your project.
All blocks will be straight stitched with no y-seams.

Arthur Lasenby Liberty first opened the Liberty store on Regent Street in London on May 15, 1875, selling imported ornaments, textiles and artefacts from the East. Liberty’s wish was to influence the public’s taste by giving them the opportunity to buy beautiful and otherwise unattainable things.
