Rosa's Workshop

...where something exciting happens every Thursday!

Pull up a chair!  Rosa's Workshop is where Cotton Cuts gets a little spontaneous. Every week, we launch one brand-new project live, straight from Rosa's sewing table to yours. No previews, no spoilers. Just one small-batch surprise, sold until it's gone for good.

One week it might be a quick decor piece you can finish in an afternoon. The next, a cozy throw, or a project made for sewing with friends. You never quite know what's coming, and that's the fun of it.

How It Works

9:30am Central — Grab your coffee and join us live on Facebook and YouTube as we unveil this week's project.

10:30am Central — The moment the show wraps, it drops on the website, while supplies last.

Every project is cut in small batches, so once it sells out, it's gone for good. No restocks, no waitlists. That's what makes each Thursday feel a little bit like a treasure hunt.

New project. New surprise. Every Thursday.

Come back each week to see what Rosa's cooks up next!

On the workbench this week:

 Rosa's Cabin

Rosa's trying something new this week...and it's got texture.

Rosa's Cabin takes the classic Log Cabin block and gives it a twist: instead of quilting cotton, this one's built entirely from woven fabrics, a first for Rosa's Workshop. Wovens get their color and pattern from threads dyed and interlaced right on the loom, so the depth runs all the way through the fabric instead of sitting on top of it. The result? A wall hanging with a richness and dimension you can't quite get from a print.

We kept the piecing simple on purpose. Just squares and strips, so this is a great entry point if you've been wanting to try wovens but weren't sure where to start. Everything you need to piece your 36" x 36" wall hanging is right here: precut strips and squares in your chosen colorway, the pattern, and a tips & tricks sheet made specifically for sewing with wovens.

Each log cabin measures 9" x 9" finished.  Each kit will make 16 cabins to layout as you wish.  Our lovely crew will provide many layout options in the pattern for you to select the one that sings the most to you!

(Binding and backing aren't included, so grab those separately if you don't already have some in your stash.)

Your front door deserves a little handmade charm. Our Quilted Scrappy Door Bow (made using Brooklyn Dawn's incredible pattern) takes the classic door bow and gives it a fabric-forward twist, made from over 200 precut squares in the color of your choice, all wrapped up into one scrappy, colorful statement piece that says:

"A Quilter Lives Here"

Every quilter needs a quick project every now and then. Something you don't have to plan for, don't have to think too hard about, don't have to pick out of forty open tabs of fabric options. Something you can just sit down and sew.

We hand you a quilt you know nothing about. No pattern name, no fabric preview, just a colorway and a promise that it was cut for you. You bring the evening. We bring the mystery.

Every workshop needs a little something on the wall and what better than the mark that started it all? This kit turns the Cotton Cuts logo into a small-scale wall hanging, stitched up in the exact colors that make it ours.

Inside, you'll find 8 fat quarters and a half yard, all in the logo's signature palette, everything you need to piece together a finished piece that belongs somewhere you'll see it every day. The pattern comes as a free digital download, so you're ready to start cutting the moment your kit arrives.
