Another Perk to our PMQ’s

Another amazing perk to our Puzzle Mystery Quilts is that they are beloved by our brand ambassadors who love to share in the fun. They often sew-along with the quilting community to enhance the experience and make sure no quilter is left behind.

Our brand ambassadors are usually sewing different sizes (small or large) and different colorways so viewers can get a different experience based on their personal project. One of our featured ambassadors Ian Garland has a YouTube channel called “The Off Kilter Crafter Ian” and he makes it so entertaining by trying to guess the design of the quilt before the Big Reveal.

Ian has worked on many Cotton Cuts Puzzle Mystery quilts. He recently completed the Village Green PMQ that ended this past November. He says “Over the past 9 puzzle mystery quilts I’ve worked on, I have learned a few tricks that help me predict what the quilt is going to look like when it is finished. When Piazza was coming to a close, I challenged myself to try to figure out what it was going to look like when it was done. I got really close but was not able to finish in time. However, for Village Green, I took on the challenge again and I was determined to figure it out this time. So once again I used my best detective skills and tried to figure out the layout of Village Green. By now, we know what the what the design looks like thanks to getting clue 10 and the Big Reveal, but you can check out this video of me trying to figure it out without having seen clue 10 or the reveal.”

We love absolutely love the creative spin Ian put into the Village Green Puzzle Mystery Quilt and cannot wait to see what he has cooked up for our next PMQ, Tree of Life. There have been some hints dropped on social media that he and Becca from Sew Becca will be choosing each other’s colorway this time around. How fun!
