Meet the Designers
Ten years ago, Michelle Bartholomew was a photographer and technical writer. One amazing day, she discovered the joys of quilting and never looked back! Combining her love of art and instruction, she began to design and publish her own modern quilt patterns. Michelle’s quilts have been featured in many quilting books and magazines, as well as winning awards at QuiltCon.
Her designs feature bold graphic shapes, clean lines, and playful color choices. She loves working with solid fabrics and letting her designs be the star of the show. Recently, she’s been fascinated by all things English Paper Piecing (EPP), and most days you will find her stitching away on a new design. At the heart of Michelle’s patterns is a goal to inspire newcomers to become lifelong quilters and to bring a fresh perspective to folks who have been quilting for years.
