One calm day in Southeastern Nebraska, the phrase, “I have an idea!” was uttered. Normally
this leads to some explosion in quilty creativity, but this particular time it was more than that: it
was the idea that the dynamic mother-daughter duo of Anneliese Johnson and Brenda Reid
should go into the quilting business together under the name Eye Candy Quilts.
They started designing patterns in 2010, and have more than 50 currently out. They’ve been
published several times in magazines and have worked with all your favorite fabric companies
to make more pretty quilts with pretty fabrics. In 2021, they teamed up with Andover Fabrics to
start designing their own fabric lines. Always full of color, whimsy, and definitely scrap-happy,
