Explore color like never before! The Painter's Palette program is a unique 12-month program featuring Tim Holtz Eclectic Elements Palette. Whether you’re a Tim Holtz fan or new to his fabric, this is your chance to experience a creative color journey with fellow enthusiasts.
How It Works:
Each month, you’ll receive a new color palette, each one building on the last. Ten prints will be released each month exclusively as part of this program, in 12 different low volume palette collections. Four prints will be continuous through all the months while the other 6 prints will rotate through Tim Holtz's unique design catalog.
Cotton Cuts will be featuring these prints in 3 uniquely Cotton Cuts programs. Precut, delivered straight to you! Sit and sew these lovely prints!

Project #1 - Bear Claws Blocks of the Month
Layouts shown are examples only - you can pick and choose the location of your own stars with the instructions provided.
Each month, receive enough precut triangles to complete three coordinated blocks that will each finish 8" x 8". After 12 months, you'll have 36 rainbow colored blocks to assemble into a lovely low volume finished quilt.
We will send you more triangles than you need so you can pick and choose the layout of each star as you wish - a true "Choose Your Own Adventure" each month.
At the end of the journey, you'll be able to select your own finishing design. On point or a grid? Your choice, you get to decide! We'll cut all your sashing strips so you won't have to.
Finishing kits will include all of the blue fabrics shown here. Binding and Backing are completely up to you!
On Point (81" x 81")
Grid (58" x 80")
Don't like a print? Then simply don't include it.
Want your star points to all match? Then pair them up.
Love scrappy? Shuffle the triangles and leave the final design to chance.
We will also send you 1" finished sashing to add to each block, to add just a bit of border. Don't want the sashing? Then simply don't include it and nest the stars right next to each other in the finished design. You do you, we won't tell anyone :)
Blocks will ship on the 8th of the month, starting in November. Shipping will be FREE for all prepaid members and the first 20 prepaid members to sign up will receive a free Tim Holtz reusable shopping bag!
We will limit memberships to only the first 200 enthusiasts. You won't want to miss out on this project!!
Project #2 - Scrappy Triangles Foundation Paper Piecing
And a whole new adventure - Fancy Nancy in London!

What are the prints that will be featured each month?
Four foundation prints are the cornerstones of each Palette color story.
- Collage strips capture Tim’s love of random vintage photos, with true legacy aspects and a nostalgic vibe.
- Stamps, worn, authentic, collected from all over the world translated in great detail for each color.
- Maps taken from vintage school geography books and atlases, some dating back to 1887, offering creative and historic value.
- Tickets inspired by the world of Ideology and a penchant for collecting old tickets.
Rounding out each color Palette are six completely different designs curated from salvaged ephemera, typography, nostalgic prints, antique wallpapers, and other vintage imperfections.

Arthur Lasenby Liberty first opened the Liberty store on Regent Street in London on May 15, 1875, selling imported ornaments, textiles and artefacts from the East. Liberty’s wish was to influence the public’s taste by giving them the opportunity to buy beautiful and otherwise unattainable things.
Due the success of the imported fabrics, Liberty set up an in-house design studio to produce its own eclectic range of designs. Now Liberty Fabrics has been designing and printing fabrics for over 140 years. Internationally recognised as a leader in print design and textile innovation, the in-house design team continues to create new and original prints each season. Based in Soho, London, the Liberty Design Studio creates a new collection of up to 40 original designs each season. Inspired by Art, Architecture, History, Music, Flora, Fauna. Each collection is themed and tells a unique story.
The Liberty Design Studio is committed to using traditional methods of design. Each design is created by hand using a variation of techniques: paint, pencil, ink as well as specialist computer textile packages. Liberty Fabrics are renowned for their fine detail, intricate pattern and original Liberty colour palettes. Liberty’s iconic floral and paisleys, geometrics and colourful conversationals are translated onto the finest textiles and innovative cloths.
Riley Blake Designs is the exclusive Liberty Fabrics distributor in the USA.
