About the Puzzle Mystery Quilt (PMQ)
+ What comes in my Puzzle Mystery Quilt package each month?
Each month for 10 months, you will receive precut pieces of fabric (triangles, squares, rectangles and squares) from your selected colorway. Each package will also include instructions for how to assemble and label all of the pieces. Note, you will not be assembling a finished block, but making strips, squares and rectangles to be assembled in the final month. It will keep you guessing until the very end!
+ What brands of fabrics do you include?
We select the highest quality quilting cotton from today’s top designers. We offer multiple colorways to accommodate quilter’s preferences. Be on the lookout for fabric from Moda, Robert Kaufman Fabrics and others!
+ Can I suggest cool fabrics or designers?
Of course! We'd love to hear about them! For fabrics on products you would like to see in a future Mystery Quilt, contact us.
+ How can I give feedback?
As a startup business, we always encourage feedback from our customers. Constructive feedback or tips to improve our service are strongly encouraged. If we have missed the mark or you just want to tell us how awesome we are, feel free to contact us.
Shipping / How it Works
+ What is the deadline to buy a Mystery Quilt?
All of our Mystery Quilts are first come, first served and we will sell them until we sell out of the colors. Our first packets for the Fall PMQ will ship on the last Friday in July and the last Friday over every month for a total of 10 deliveries. Our spring clues ship on the first Friday of the month in February, unless the Saturday is the 1st.
+ When do I get billed for my PMQ?
You will be billed for your first packet immediately when you sign up and will be rebilled on the 10th of every subsequent month starting on August 10th for 9 more payments. After the 10th of the month, we will not be able to cancel that month’s delivery.
Our spring clues rebill on the 15th of the month. After the 15th of the month, we will not be able to cancel that month’s delivery.
+ When can I expect my PMQ to arrive?
It takes about 1-3 business days for your first package to arrive in the United States.
+ How much is shipping and where do you deliver?
Shipping is free in the United Sates! We ship USPS First class mail, which delivers to all 50 states (including Alaska and Hawaii), territories and APO addresses. Additionally, we ship free Internationally for all prepaid mysteries. See our "Free International Shipping" page for more details.
+ Can I buy past clues that I may have missed?
Please contact us as we may have older colorways in stock, but cannot guarantee inventory. Thank you for your interest!
+ Can I shop at Cotton Cuts, even if I don't participate in the PMQ?
Absolutely! Our shop will carry fabric and patterns. We will have limited inventory of many of these items, so please check back early and often!
+ I moved or am planning to move. Can I easily change my shipping address?
Simply login to your Cotton Cuts account and change your address from the account page. You may also contact us and our team will assist you in your request.
+ What forms of payment can I use?
We use Stripe and PayPal for our payment processing and securely accept all major credit cards. Unfortunately, we do not accept checks, money orders or cash for membership.
+ How do I update my credit card information? Does Cotton Cuts maintain that information?
Simply login to your Cotton Cuts account. You can update your payment information in the "Credit Card" box at the bottom of the page. This information is not retained with Cotton Cuts. Our certified payment processor, Stripe and PayPal, handle all credit card processing.
+ Do I get a discount for prepaying for all months upfront?
The cost for the PMQ will be the same if you pre-pay for all months upfront, but you will receive a coupon for 20% off a one-time purchase in our online fabric and pattern store.
+ How do I cancel my membership?
Simply login to your Cotton Cuts account and cancel your membership from the member profile page. All cancellations are effective immediately; though keep in mind we might still owe you a package from a previous charge, depending on where you are in the monthly cycle. Additionally, if you have prepaid for all months, we will continue to deliver on the packages purchased. Unfortunately, after midnight on the 10th of the month (Fall) and the 15th of the month (Spring), we are unable to cancel that month's shipment.
+ Are there any penalties for cancelling my membership?
After cancelling, we will not charge you for any subsequent months, but you will receive a final Cotton Cuts package if you already paid for the month. There are no penalties for cancelling your membership!
+ How do gift PMQ’s work?
If you would like to give the gift of a PMQ, simply click on the PMQ link in the header. You will be directed to our PMQ Color Selection Page. Select the colorway you would like delivered to your lucky quilter and select how you would like to pay. Add the membership to your cart and at the checkout, add the recipient's mailing address and your contact information, including e-mail.

+ How do I report an issue with my order?
Simply contact us and we will help you resolve your issue. We guarantee a response within 1 business day!
+ Can I refund my order?
At this time we do not issue refunds unless your order is damaged, at which point we will issue full replacements at no cost to you. We do ask that you provide a photo of the damaged goods, so that we can relay that back to our fulfillment specialists.
